Towards the end, HirePatriots includes a unique job board where local civilian residents post chores around their homes and yards for local US Military, and veterans to do and earn extra income. This creates a friendly connection between them and the residents in nearby communities, which often results in developing surrogate friendships and families, and being invited to share holidays, family dinners. These connections enrich their lives, prevents depression and loneliness; and can assist them in transitioning successfully too.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p><p>Our\u00a0<strong>US Military Maintenance and US Military Clean programs<\/strong>\u00a0are unique veteran-owned start-up business opportunities. They have established veteran owned businesses in over 40 states.\u00a0This program provides personal training on how to incorporate and acquire paying accounts within their first month. We provide their equipment, OSHA certifications, uniforms, marketing, and monthly national team meetings that are educational, inspiring and motivational.<\/p><p>Our nation owes a profound debt of gratitude to the men and women who serve in the U.S. military. Their sacrifices ensure our freedom, security, and way of life. Yet, too often, their families face financial struggles, especially during times of transition, unexpected emergencies, or the loss of a loved one. Patriotic Hearts created the\u00a0<strong>Military Families Aid program<\/strong>\u00a0to address these challenges and provide direct assistance to U.S. military and veteran families, as well as their Pendleton Marine Base. One day a Marine who had just returned home from Iraq knocked on their door. \u201cSir,\u201d he said, \u201cI just got back from deployment and found out that my wife was laid-off a couple of months before I got back home. And when I got back today I found out that our utilities were turned off. So I need to earn some extra money to make sure that we can have lights and heat before my kids go to sleep tonight. \u2013 Is there any work or repairs that I can do for you around your home or yard?\u201d<\/p><p>The founders wanted to just give the Marine the money he needed; but, he insisted on working for it. So he cleaned their house, did yardwork and fixed the carburetor on an old car they had. The Marine earned $100 that day and got his bills paid.<\/p><p>Patriotic Hearts was created to see if any other residents wanted to hire local Marines. People who suffer trauma, injury, and emotional or psychological affliction often respond to working with horses far more effectively than other kinds of therapy. Horses have been used for this purpose for over 3,000 years. Many have called this therapy \u201camazing,\u201d and \u201cmiraculous.\u201d And it has demonstrated positive results when working closely with horses.<\/p><p>There are a variety of horse therapy programs available, from the highly trained and certified professionals, to concerned and philanthropic horse ranches; and from the strictly regulated professional standards of horse people with good hearts. Each has their legitimate place in helping people to recover from a variety of emotional, developmental, and physical challenges. Horses have proven over thousands of years to be especially adept at restoring people to better health and mindfulness, regardless of a person\u2019s affliction or issue.<\/p><p>We work with Armed Services, YMCA\u2019s, and Horse of the Sun Ranch. Miracles happen there! And lives are changed for the better. The staff are amazing! Like all great coaches and teachers, they seem to have been given a gift at birth to work with horses and to heal people. It is a wondrous dynamic!<\/p><p>Our charity, Patriotic Hearts, is forming relationships with selected programs across America.
